The Capricorn XS Ultra-Low Friction PTFE Bowden Tube is a PTFE tube with high accuracy that replaces the standard PTFE tube (white) of your 3D printer. The Bowden Tube or PTFE tube is the tube that guides the filament from your extruder to your hotend.
The PTFE tube is improved with high-quality additives to reduce filament friction. The filament has minimal clearance in the tube, significantly improving print quality and making it easier to print flexible filament. Furthermore, the Capricorn XS tube is resistant to higher temperatures. This allows you to confidently print PETG filament without the PTFE tube deforming due to heat, something that will happen over time with the standard PTFE tube.
