About data processing
Below you can read how we process your data, where we store (or have stored) it, which security techniques we use, and who has access to the data.
Webshop software
Punt XL
Our webshop was developed using software from Punt XL. Personal data that you make available to us for the purpose of our services is shared with this party. Punt XL has access to your data in order to provide us with (technical) support and will never use your data for any other purpose. Under the agreement we have concluded with them, Punt XL is required to take appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Punt XL uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored. Punt XL reserves the right to share collected data within its own group of companies in order to further improve the service.
Web hosting
Punt XL
We obtain web hosting and email services from Punt XL. Punt XL processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. Punt XL has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Punt XL is required to maintain confidentiality under the non-disclosure agreement.
Email and mailing lists
MailChimp
We send our email newsletters using MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically via our website you will find the 'unsubscribe' link. You will then no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is stored securely by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and, as part of that, to share information with third parties.
Gmail
For our regular business email correspondence we use the services of Gmail. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Gmail does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email correspondence confidentially.
Payment processors
Mollie
To process (part of) the payments in our webshop, we use the Mollie platform. Mollie processes your name, address, and city details as well as your payment details, such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and, as part of that, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. All the safeguards mentioned above regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie's services for which they engage third parties. Mollie does not retain your data for longer than permitted under the applicable statutory periods.
Shipping and logistics
PostNL
When you place an order with us, it is our task to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out deliveries. For this purpose it is necessary that we share your name, address, and city details with PostNL. PostNL only uses this data for the purpose of performing the agreement. If PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL also makes your data available to these parties.
Invoicing and bookkeeping
Jortt
For keeping our administration and bookkeeping, we use the services of Jortt. We share your name, address, and city details as well as details regarding your order. This data is used to administer sales invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored securely. Jortt is required to maintain confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. Jortt does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.
External sales channels
Bol.com
We sell (part of) our products via the Bol.com platform. If you place an order via this platform, Bol.com shares your order and personal data with us. We use this data to process your order. We treat your data confidentially and have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized use.
Purpose of data processing
General purpose of processing
We use your data solely for the purpose of our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time other than at your request, we will explicitly ask your permission to do so. Your data is not shared with third parties other than to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. All these third parties are bound to confidentiality under the agreement between them and us, or an oath, or a statutory obligation.
Automatically collected data
Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. This data (for example your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.
Cooperation with tax and criminal investigations
In applicable cases, 3D filamentshop may be required, under a statutory obligation, to share your data in connection with a tax or criminal investigation by the authorities. In such a case we are compelled to share your data, but we will resist this within the possibilities afforded to us by law.
Retention periods
We retain your data for as long as you are a customer of ours. This means we retain your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will also treat this as a request to be forgotten. Under applicable administrative obligations we are required to retain invoices containing your (personal) data; we will therefore retain this data for as long as the applicable statutory period runs. However, employees no longer have access to your customer profile and the documents we have produced as a result of your assignment.
Your rights
Under applicable Dutch and European law you, as the data subject, have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. Below we explain what these rights are and how you can invoke them. In principle, to prevent misuse, we only send transcripts and copies of your data to the email address already known to us. If you wish to receive the data at a different email address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep records of handled requests; in the case of a request to be forgotten we keep anonymized records. You will receive all transcripts and copies of data in the machine-readable data format that we use within our systems. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly.
Right of access
You always have the right to inspect the data that we process (or have processed) that relates to you or is traceable to you. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy contact person. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you, at the email address known to us, a copy of all data along with an overview of the processors that hold this data, stating the category under which we have stored this data.
Right to rectification
You always have the right to have the data that we process (or have processed) that relates to you or is traceable to you corrected. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy contact person. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you, at the email address known to us, confirmation that the data has been amended.
Right to restriction of processing
You always have the right to have the processing of the data that relates to you or is traceable to you restricted. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy contact person. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you, at the email address known to us, confirmation that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.
Right to data portability
You always have the right to have the data that we process (or have processed) that relates to you or is traceable to you transferred by another party. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy contact person. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you, at the email address known to us, transcripts or copies of all data about you that we have processed or that has been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties. In all likelihood, we will not be able to continue providing the service in such a case, since the secure linking of data files can no longer be guaranteed.
Right to object and other rights
In applicable cases you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of 3D filamentshop. If you object, we will immediately halt the data processing pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is found to be justified, we will make available to you transcripts and/or copies of the data that we process (or have processed) and will then permanently halt the processing. You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in a way that makes this right applicable. If you believe this is nevertheless the case, please contact our privacy contact person.
Cookies
Google Analytics
Cookies from the American company Google are placed via our website as part of the "Analytics" service. We use this service to track and obtain reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be required, under applicable laws and regulations, to grant access to this data. We have not permitted Google to use the analytics information obtained for other Google services.
Third-party cookies
In the event that third-party software solutions use cookies, this is stated in this privacy statement.
Changes to the privacy policy
We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time. However, you will always find the most recent version on this page. If the new privacy policy has consequences for the way in which we process data already collected about you, we will notify you of this by email.
