What is PCTG?

Fiberlogy PCTG is a copolyester from the same material family as PETG. Its key difference is its greater toughness and impact resistance. It can absorb knocks and loads more effectively without breaking as easily. This makes it a strong choice for functional 3D prints where everyday durability matters as much as appearance.

This category includes PCTG in opaque and transparent colours. It is therefore suitable for robust components as well as projects that call for a clear or coloured transparent finish.

Why choose PCTG?

When a part is used regularly, a tough and impact-resistant material can make a real difference. PCTG handles shocks better and is less prone to breaking than a more brittle material. It is well suited to brackets, clamps, housings and other functional parts that need to remain dependable during intensive use.

The range also includes carbon-fibre-reinforced (CF) and glass-fibre-reinforced (GF) variants. These products are grouped together on the PCTG + CF / GF page as well. Most of the range is suitable for use with the Bambu Lab AMS.

Applications

  • Functional and mechanically loaded parts
  • Housings for devices and constructions
  • Brackets, holders and clamps
  • Durable components for intensive use
  • Transparent and coloured transparent parts

The range

The Fiberlogy PCTG range contains 24 products. Opaque colours include black, white, grey, graphite, inox, onyx, blue, red and orange. The transparent selection includes Pure Transparent, as well as transparent bordeaux, navy blue, orange and light green.
