What is PLA Impact?

Fiberlogy PLA Impact is a specially adapted PLA developed for parts that need extra toughness. Compared with standard PLA, this filament is more impact-resistant and less brittle. Printed parts can therefore handle a knock more easily, making the material a practical choice for objects that may be dropped or exposed to regular loads.

At the same time, PLA Impact remains easy to print. You get the familiar convenience of PLA while gaining additional toughness without having to move straight to a more demanding technical material. It is a useful option for makers who want functional results without giving up the straightforward printing experience of PLA.

Why choose PLA Impact?

PLA Impact combines simple processing with improved resistance to everyday impacts. Parts are less likely to break easily and can cope better with normal use than parts made from standard PLA. This makes the filament especially suitable for projects where appearance and function are equally important.

Whether you are making a holder, a bracket, a clip or another functional component, PLA Impact gives your project a more resilient finish. Choose it when you want more toughness, but still value the familiar and accessible properties of PLA.
