Nylon PA12 + CF / GF filament

What is reinforced nylon?

Fiberlogy reinforced nylon is based on PA12 and is available with either carbon fibre or glass fibre reinforcement. This combines the toughness, wear resistance and low friction of PA12 with additional technical performance. It is suited to parts that face demanding use and need to retain their shape during operation.

PA12 is sensitive to moisture. Store the filament in a dry environment and dry the spool before printing for the best results. Fibre-reinforced filaments are abrasive, so use a hardened nozzle, such as one made from hardened steel.

Why choose nylon + CF or GF?

PA12 + CF has a matte, black and technical-looking surface. PA12 + GF combines the proven properties of PA12 with extra stiffness and dimensional stability. It is available in black, natural, red and light green. Both materials are suitable when a part needs to withstand repeated use while remaining wear-resistant and dimensionally stable.
