Fiberlogy FiberFlex 40D Brown is a flexible filament that allows you to easily create rubber-like prints. With a hardness of D40 on the Shore scale (comparable to, for example, skateboard wheels), you can print at speeds up to 45mm/s with a direct drive extruder (15-30mm/s for a bowden setup). The filament is easy to feed and the layers adhere extremely well. Due to its user-friendliness, FiberFlex 40D can be used for both amateur and professional applications. FiberFlex 40D filament can withstand lower temperatures, is wear-resistant, and has high impact resistance. You will discover that printing with flexible filament doesn't have to be difficult at all.
Fiberlogy is known for its premium quality filament that meets the highest quality standards and goes beyond other manufacturers. By maintaining a diameter tolerance for flexible filament of 0.05mm and a roundness tolerance of 0.02mm, FiberFlex 40D sets itself apart from the rest of Fiberlogy's products, allowing you to get the best out of your 3D printer.
Tip: To make it easier to remove the print, it is recommended to heat the bed to 110°C
Check the table below to see what you can compare the hardness of 40D to. It's also useful for comparing with other TPU filaments that work with Shore A.
