FiberFlex 40D Gray is flexible filament with which you can easily create rubber-like prints. With a hardness of D40 on the Shore scale (comparable to, for example, skateboard wheels), you can print at a speed of up to 45mm/s with a direct drive extruder. (For a bowden setup, 15-30 mm/s). The input is straightforward and the layers adhere very well to each other. Due to its user-friendliness, FiberFlex 40D can be used for both amateur and professional applications. FiberFlex 40D filament can withstand lower temperatures, is wear-resistant, and has a high impact resistance. You will discover that printing with flexible filament does not have to be difficult at all.
Fiberlogy is known for its premium quality filament that meets the highest quality standards and goes above and beyond other manufacturers. By maintaining a diameter tolerance of 0.05 mm and a roundness tolerance of 0.02 mm for flexible filament, FiberFlex 40D distinguishes itself from the rest, allowing you to get the best out of your 3D printer.
Tip: To facilitate the removal of the print, it is advisable to heat the bed to 110°C
See the table below to compare the hardness of 40D. Also useful for comparing with other TPU filaments that use Shore A.
