Product Description

With Fiberlogy FiberSmooth Graphite print you the most beautifully finished objects. Fiberlogy FiberSmooth is a material based on Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB). After printing, you can completely smooth it with Isopropanol, also known as isopropyl alcohol or IPA. Submerge the model in the liquid or use the vapors and the filament will partially dissolve. As a result, the outer contours will merge together and the layers will blend with each other. At the same time, the entire model will have a porcelain-like, glossy surface.

3D printing with FiberSmooth is comparable to PLA. It is a print-friendly material and perfect for both beginners and experienced professionals. However, please note that the adhesion between the layers is weaker. Therefore, we recommend printing at a higher bed temperature to prevent the model from warping. PVB has low shrinkage and is odorless.
