Product Description

With Fiberlogy FiberSmooth Pure Transparent (transparent), you can print the most beautifully finished objects. Fiberlogy FiberSmooth is a material based on Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB). After printing, you can finish it completely smooth with Isopropanol, also known as isopropyl alcohol or IPA. Submerge the model in the liquid or use the vapors and the filament will partially dissolve. This will blend the outer contours together and blur the layers. At the same time, the entire model will have a porcelain-like, glossy surface.

3D printing with FiberSmooth is similar to PLA. It is a print-friendly material and perfect for both beginners and experienced professionals. However, keep in mind that the adhesion between the layers is weaker. That's why we recommend printing at a higher bed temperature to prevent the model from warping. PVB has low shrinkage and is odorless.
