Fiberlogy HIPS Black filament is a soluble support filament that can also be used as a normal lightweight filament.
Fiberlogy HIPS Black filament is suitable for use as a base filament or as support material for complex prints. This allows you to place supports in areas where they cannot be removed with other filaments.
When using Fiberlogy HIPS filament for normal printing, you will get a precise and good-looking print with a matte surface. The filament is lightweight and can be easily post-processed by polishing and painting with acrylic paint. This allows any model or miniature to look very high-quality.
It can also be used as support material for complex prints with large overhangs, cavities, or special shapes. Once the print is finished, you can immerse it in D-limonene. This will dissolve the Fiberlogy HIPS and leave you with the print without supports.
A 3D printer with an enclosure is recommended for printing with Fiberlogy HIPS.
This filament, with its dimensions, is ideally suited for use with the Automatic Material Switcher (AMS) of Bambu Lab printers such as the X1C, P1S, and P1P. You can easily adjust the properties through Bambu Studio or the Bambu Lab Handy App.
