Let's be honest: it was getting a little out of hand. More and more often we got emails like "You've got printers, right? Could you print this for me?" A broken dishwasher knob. A bracket for a bike light. A prototype for a startup. A hundred identical holders for a shop fit-out. The answer was always yes, but it all went through loose emails and sums on the back of an envelope. We figured we could do better. So we turned it into a proper 3D printing service.

What exactly is the 3D printing service?

Really simple: you have an idea, a file or just a broken part in your hand, and we turn it into an actual print. You send a request online, we look at it personally and you get a quote with the price and lead time. Happy with it? Then you sign digitally, pay online and the printers get to work. Afterwards you pick it up or we ship it to you.

We print with the same filament you buy in our shop, mostly Fiberlogy filament from our own stock. So no mystery spools without a name, but material we know inside out.

Who is it for?

Pretty much anyone who wants something printed without printing it themselves. In practice we see four kinds of requests:

  • A single part. A broken clip, a replacement handle or a gift you can't buy anywhere. You're welcome with just one piece too, you really don't need to buy a printer for it.
  • Prototypes and small runs. You're developing something and want to hold it in your hands first. We print prototypes, moulds, jigs and small batches, so you can fine-tune at your own pace.
  • Large business volumes. Hundreds of identical parts, inlays or display material. We lock in material, settings and price, so every repeat order is exactly the same as the last one.
  • Extra capacity for print businesses. Is your own print farm running flat out while that deadline creeps closer? Then we print alongside you as an extension of your business, without ever getting between you and your customer.

What do we print on?

On high-end multi-material printers. Whether you need one part or a sizeable run, we simply plan it in. In plain English:

  • Big build volume: parts up to 300 x 300 x 330 mm each. Doesn't quite fit? We can often print it in sections that you glue together afterwards.
  • Up to 8 colours in one print: a model in several colours or materials comes off the plate in one go, no gluing needed.
  • Layer height from 0.12 to 0.28 mm: fine for lots of detail and a smooth surface, coarser when it mainly needs to be strong and affordable. We advise per part.

Which material should you pick?

This is where our filament background really pays off. A quick cheat sheet:

  • PLA for most everyday parts: crisp detail and available in loads of colours.
  • PETG and PCTG when it needs to be tougher and cope with moisture and heat.
  • ABS and ASA for parts that end up in the sun or in a scorching car. ASA is UV resistant on top of that.
  • Nylon PA12 for mechanical parts that take a real beating.
  • Flexible filament and PP for grips, protective caps and parts that need to give a little.
  • Fibre reinforced options with carbon or glass fibre, like nylon CF and GF, when stiffness matters most.

Get your quote in three steps

  1. Tell us what you need. Choose whether we should print or design something, and describe in plain words what the part has to do.
  2. Upload your model or a photo. With an STL or 3MF file (up to 50 MB) you instantly see the print time and a price estimate, and the form shows your model right away in 3D. A photo or sketch with measurements works too.
  3. Leave your details. We review everything personally and email you the quote. No strings attached.

That takes about three minutes. Got a 3MF where the colours are already assigned? The form reads them and asks which filament spool you want for each colour.

No 3D model? We'll design it

Not everyone has an STL lying around, and that's fine. First have a look on Printables, Thingiverse or MakerWorld, where you'll find thousands of ready-made models. Your part isn't there? Then we design mechanical parts for you in Fusion. Send us photos, a sketch or a technical drawing with the key measurements. The design work gets its own line on your quote, so you see exactly what the design costs and what the printing costs.

How much does it cost to get something 3D printed?

The honest answer: it depends. The size of your part, the material, the layer height and the quantity together make up the price. What we can promise: our rates are very competitive, the quote is free and without obligation, and with an STL or 3MF the form already gives you a price estimate before you send anything.

Also nice: with most filaments you only pay for the grams your print actually uses. Whatever is left on the spool goes into a future job. Pick a filament we don't keep open, and you buy a full spool. We then store the rest dry in your name for six months, so a repeat order only costs print time. Or we ship it along with your print, whatever you prefer.

How quickly will I have my print?

We deliver fast, but exactly how fast depends on size, quantity and material. That's why the lead time is stated on your quote. In a hurry? Just mention it in your request.

Which files can I send?

Preferably an STL or 3MF file up to 50 MB. Only have a STEP file, a photo or a sketch with measurements? Then request design work and we'll turn it into a printable model.

How big can my part be?

Up to 300 x 300 x 330 mm per piece. If it's bigger, we'll check whether it can be printed in sections.

Can you print large series too?

Absolutely. From one piece to thousands, on the same printers and with the same personal review.

Am I committed once I send a request?

No. A request is free and without obligation. We only start production once you've signed the quote digitally and paid.

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, and pickup is possible too. Shipping costs come on top of the quote and are shown at checkout.
