What is PETG Matte?
Fiberlogy PETG Matte is PETG filament with a matte, velvety finish. Where regular PETG has a slight sheen, the surface of PETG Matte diffuses the light. Layer lines become less noticeable and prints take on a calm, premium look – without sanding or coating.
Underneath that matte surface is genuine PETG: strong, tough and less brittle than PLA. So you don't have to choose between a good-looking surface and a part that can take a knock.
Why choose PETG Matte?
- Layer lines are less visible, so prints look finished straight off the printer.
- No shine: shapes and details come across more calmly, in photos too.
- The strength and toughness of PETG, for parts that are actually used.
- All colours but one are suitable for the Bambu Lab AMS.
Applications
PETG Matte is a good choice for anything that needs to look good and work well:
- housings and covers
- holders, stands and organisers
- prototypes that should look like a finished product
- decorative objects and models
