Fiberlogy PCTG + CF and PCTG + GF combine the toughness and impact resistance of PCTG with the benefits of fiber reinforcement. They are a practical choice for parts that require extra rigidity and dimensional stability.
What is PCTG + CF / GF?
PCTG + CF is reinforced with carbon fiber and has a matte, dark, technical-looking surface. PCTG + GF contains glass fiber and is available in black and natural. Both materials provide a solid basis for functional printed parts with a distinctly technical appearance.
Why choose reinforced PCTG?
Fiber reinforcement adds to the mechanical properties of PCTG. It increases rigidity and helps the printed part retain its dimensions, while the characteristic toughness and impact resistance of PCTG remain part of the material’s appeal. Keep in mind that fiber-reinforced filaments are abrasive. Use a hardened nozzle, such as one made from hardened steel, to process them.
Applications
- Mechanically loaded functional parts
- Brackets and frames
- Moulds and jigs
- Technical prototypes
The range
Choose between PCTG + CF with carbon fiber and PCTG + GF with glass fiber. PCTG + GF is available in black and natural. Refills without a spool are also available for this variant, ready to use with a reusable spool. Part of the range is suitable for the Bambu Lab AMS. For non-reinforced PCTG, visit the separate PCTG category. This product category is part of PETG & PCTG.
